I am trying to help my buddy get his 95 5.0 started and the problem is that it will crank just fine but will only stay cranked if you highly rev the motor then it dies again....the only mods are exhaust and possible cold air.......i was thinkin it could be the IAC, fuel filter or vacuum leak....any takers?

unplug the Iac and see if it'll run

carbon, carbon, carbon... if unplugging the iac did nothimg look for carbon build up in the iac passages of the upper intake. if nothing there try checking for broken or pinched tps wires towards rear of intake. been down this road too many times..
