I wonder how he checked it? If he bypassed for testing or not.

no vacuum leaks,everythings plugged in,all smog equip, is there also im just getting confused i ran a jumper from the coil to the battery i hear stuff turning on but when i start it it acts like it wants to run, but the guy i bought it from said it has an alarm but its bypassed so i dont think thats the problem, i was wondering if it could be the computer but if it was that would it even start?????

I know, it's like he's holding infos and want to give them one at the time (no offense OP).

First thing would be to figure out if he has juice to the plugs when on the "RUN" position.
Then keep going from there to see if it's electrical or else...
