Annoying Problem
Hey everyone, i have an 89 Mustang GT, with a new motor, dss aluminun block, e cam, port and polished cylinder heads, cobra upper and lower, cai, shorty headers, h pipe, and flowmasters, 9.5:1 compression. I have a problem when the car heats up. It runs perfect before it reaches operating temp, but as soon as it hits operating temp and gets hot, it starts sputtering and makes popping noises when i give it about half throttle, but when i stomp on the gas it runs good. Makes like a popping noise and feels like there's air bubbles in the fuel lines or something? I replaced the iac, cleaned the maf, made sure all my vacuum lines are good and there are no leaks, changed the fuel tank itself, and fuel pump, and got rid of all the sediment in the fuel lines. Don't know if anyone else has run into this problem any help is appreciated. I also have a AOD transmission. I also use chevron premium 91 and my timing is set at 14 degrees.
