Im getting frustrated, its a 91 lx with a 5.0 and an automatic starts and runs for about 10 seconds and dies, i loose spark and fuel ive already replace ignition modual and pick up coil, same effect, tried diffrent coil same concern, when it dies it act like the igntion got shut off, checked igntion switch but cant find anything wrong with it, anybody got any ideas, could this be like a ecm relay or something i cant even find one for it?????

ARE YOU SURE IT ISN'T DYING DUE TO LACK OF FUEL?? IF not how did you verify such??

so it wont stay running even if you keep hitting the throttle?

i verifed this by sparing carb cleaner into engine and had no effect, i also watched with spark tester and noid light just shuts injectors off and spark dies, touching throttle doesnt effect it i even held engine at over 2 thousand rpms and still just dies, every once in a while befor the enigne completly stops spining will actually catch and start firing again and stay running for an extra 10 seconds

Sounds like some sort of grounding issue to me. Try swapping in a new ECM if you have one available.

Is the check engine light on? And whats your fuel pressure at before the vehicle dies?
