Default time for smog again, question on a/f ratio

so i just got the letter telling me i have 1 month to pass a smog test. this will be the first smog test since it was stock and of course im a little worried seeing that from air filter to tail pipe is aftermarket. i live in california so i have to pass a visual[:'(] test as well. i have to put my cats back in and hook up my smog pump and clean my egr. i cant use the stock maf cause i have 24#ers. i also have to take out my 180* stat and put in a 195* stat and turn my timing way down (8* to be exact)
anyways, my question is, what is the a/f ratio of a stock 5.0 at idle? they test here at 1500rpm and at 2500rpm. thank God they dont do a WOT test. or a better question, what is the leanest i can safely go? i have a wide band o2 sensor thats on a truck coming here as we speak. i bought it for tuning the top end but i figured i can use it to read the idle a/f and go super lean. so if anyone knows how lean can i safely go or how lean the car runs stock that would be great.
thanks guys

13.5 is idle for performance, for the smog you may be able to get away with a high 14:1

also increased in timing will help burn fuel some

ive always been told retarding the timing was good for smog. my friend at the dealership would tell me how he would set some stangs so far retarded the headers would glow to help them pass. i have to go to a test only place otherwise id just have him "pass" me.

well i know that when increased with timing you burn hotter. and running lean is burning hotter. i dont know about how it passes smog since i dont need to worry about it. car is exempt
