If you are serious about making a Mustang handle look into either MM's or Griggs Torque arm set ups. Then look into a Griggs k member. Also remember that all the power and trick suspension parts will not make up for a goo driver, plus your buddy is running a fwd car, which is not the best platform out there for handling well.

i know for a fact.

food for thought...

friend with a 2000 Integra:
B18 (non VTEC)
turbo setup (not sure we bought it used, but it was cheap, only $1K)
BIG FMIC
injectors
downpipe back exhaust
intake manifold/TB
LS trans, alum flyhweel, nice clutch, etc etc etc etc
this car is fully built bascially, runs 15-17psi on pump gas, and goes pretty well.

other friend:

2003 Jetta 1.8T
K04 turbo swap
tune, 25psi
FMIC
3" exhaust, race cat
GLi 6spd, alum flywheel, clutch axles, etc
at least 3 "tunes" for all the upgrades
a bunch of other crap.

the Integra probably has about 5-6 grand into his build, not including rims and other cosmetic stuff

the Jetta has (no joke) about 8 grand into his motor build.

i have other friends with SRT-4's, BMW's, an SR20DET nissan 240, an RB25 240, an Evo, 2 STi's (one stock, ones actually a WRX wagon with a heart transplant), a 7MGTE Supra, 1JZ supra, 2JZ Supra, and a couple of assorted DSM's.

the two cars i listed mods for i helped build, so i know EVERYTHING that went in since the Integra is more of a body man, and the Jetta driver can barely change his own oil (he tried to tell me to take the driveshaft out of his car for the trans swap. i guess on VW's driveshaft = exhaust...)
they have A LOT of money into their cars.

my car right before it was off the road:
stock shortblock with KB domed pistons (.040" over, im sorry not stock)
used Patriot 185 heads (came out to 10.6 CR)
Steeda #19 cam with 1.7 rockers
Ford Racing gasket set (hey you never know what ricers might complain about...)
Astro A5 gearset in my T5 with a .79 5th gear, 2.95 1st (built in my garage)
used alum flywheel with a new mating surface, SPEC clutch, TOB
3.73 gears
used TFS track heat and 75mm TB and intake elbow (yes, still the SN95 style).
30# injectors, with a Pro M MAF
13* base timing (also called my 93 octane tune lol)
Mac lontubes, Summit OR X, Magnapacks
255lph pump
NO TUNE!!! ECU was never even looked at.

everything i have listed here cost me ~$3500. yes, i did a lot of digging for used parts, traded some stuff, and looked around for months for sales.

maybe my car was a ringer/factory freak, or maybe i just know how to spend my money. no one ever saw it coming, it didnt sound fast AT ALL (the #19 sounds milder than a B303, even with my 1.7's).

but the only cars in the above mentioned list that could stay with me was the Evo and the STi wagon (both of which were $30K cars with $15K + in mods). the Evo eventually got me when he steped up his boost A LOT.

and keep in mind i have a 1995 GT, which is about the worst year you can buy in terms of performance besides maybe a 96-98 GT. my car is heavy, and has THE WORST ECU ever...(friend actually has a 98 GT with a PI swap, 11:1 CR, TFS heads, intake, etc etc. he makes stupid NA power, has only 281 cubic inches, shifts at 7500rpm compared to my 6200, and stayed right there with my 308. but he has 13K in his motor build alone...).

Fu<k imports, Camaro's, Challengers, Chargers, G8's, GTO's or anything else. yes they can all be fast but seriously...

hell a guy at the local scene has an Accent with a 4G63 that destoys any and everything, but he's got at least 10 in fabrication ALONE.

give me a 289, 302, or 351W (not 351C) and a modest budget and watch me walk anyone who lines up next to me with the same budget.
