so i tried a new carb a lot better it pops in the exhaust alittle bit

i dont a video camera mjr when it is at a idle it will pop in the exhause like a backfire but not as bad

just idling??? if so it sounds like a possible misfire.........any hesitations or surgy miss feelings when driving??

yea at idle havent drove it yet need a belt tensioner it revs good though

well, you really need to get it out on the road and lug it in lets say 5th gear from a 20 mph roll, if it's a misfire , it'll show up under a load there, also driving it will reveal any hesitations and take note when and where such occur....like light acceleration, from a dead blast....ect ect, that way you'll know what area to focus carb tunning on

Almost sounds like a bad plug or wire causing the popping sound. But there are many variables. Driving under a load is the best way to feel it out as mjr said.

Id put $ you have something Fubared in your Carb but I would Doublecheck your timing with a light.
