Default 93 mustang electrical problems

I have a 93 mustang gt and i changed my heater core and put everything back together and then i tried it out and everything worked fine, then i hooked my fog lights up to a toggle switch and some wires started smoking under the hood , i checked all of the fuses and one was blowed ,i replaced and it is still dead, only thing that works is my door locks, is the another fuse under the hood blown or what could be the problem?

Sounds like you smoked a fusible link coming off of the starter solenoid.

Does the fusible have a wire on each side hooked on the hot side of the solenoid if so i checked it with a test light and both sides are hot, any more ideas?

There are a couple of them on the battery cable side of the solenoid.
What else is not working?

I got the car running it was a broke wire on the fusible link, now the black wire coming out of the headlight switch is smoking and my blinkers are not working but the head lights still work.

When I did my heater core I pinched a wire when I reinstalled the dash. Caused a short and drained my battery.

You may have fumbled something over near the fuse box.
