T5 WC id help 265lb or 300lb torque!!

T5 WC id help 265lb or 300lb torque!!

Hey guys I have a T5 I’m pretty sure is a WC that is suppose to be out of a 90. Which if it is indeed out of a 90 the question is answered. I want to find out if it is the 265 torque or 300 T5. Is there any way to tell if I open the top cover? I know if it is out of a 90 it should be the 300lb torque but I’m not totally sure it is. There is no ID tag on the trans. Why in the hell do people take these off?

If there is a tag hanging off the case bolt. Match it up with the listing at TTC transmissions. It will tell you everything.

WC T5's have a small circle piece about the size of a dime near the input shaft

you could examine the blocker rings, the material was upgraded to a carbon fiber style

on the front of the case where the input shaft comes out, to the lower left of it, a few inches away, there will be a round chrome/silver piece about the size of a dime, maybe a bit bigger. if you do not see this, its not WC.
