Adjust your TV cable ASAP ! ! ! !!

The AOD can't handle any increase in power My 89 GT has the following mods, Full Exhaust BBK headers 1 5/8", X-Pipe 2.5", cat back 2.5", K&N filter, 73mm MAF, and 65mm T.B. Those few mods blow 3rd and 4th in my AOD thispass summer got like 2 months out of it. In the spring I even changed/flushed the fluid, adjusted the TV cable (watched it every week) and it still let go. I believe the input shaft twisted off from the converter.

Full T5 swap including WC 2.95 T5 box (1500 km),dual friction centerforce clutch (5000Km), B&M rippershifterfor a cool $1000 cdn. Would pay less for factory gear but thisgear is good seen the car pull off 11.1sec passthis summer with a 150 shot. He changing over to a racing C4.

1. one piece input shaft
2. non lockup converter
3. 'A' servo
4. deep tranny pan for more cooling
5. largest tranny cooler you can find
6. shift kit by transgo so can modify OD to become adriving gear.
then of course stronger clutches and that. this is what
they recomend with running a AOD.
