what did he add, GT40P's?
adder knows his ****...
and how are headds not going to increase power? even at low lift (.450") most heads will flow around 200-220cfm.
FULLY PORTED E7's GT40P's or anything else stock wont even hit that at max lift.
so once again, this wont make power because...?

stock cam is even TOO big for the amount the stock heads and intake flow. upgrading the heads and intake with used peices is a totally reasonable idea.

and your friend is probably one of those "I bought a chip for my car on ebay. I told them I had a tornado and it would give me 50hp!"
see now, has he put a good set of heads on that matched the other components, he would have seen more. For example. A set of AFR 165cc heads, GT-40 lower and comp cams poly box upper, and the stock cam retarded a few degrees, running 1.7 roller rockers and upgraded springs... should have ANY trouble making 275rwhp
(especially considering i made that kinda of HP with my stock components....)

was all set to go, spent more time at MEPS than i ever want to (med issue from when i was young), got my waiver, picked out my MOS (19D, you aint Cav., you aint ****!), my ship date, everything ready to go.
then my wife and i found out we were expecting. didnt feel right leaving her then.
but the minute my son turns 2 (after he walks and talks for the first time) im gone. still talk to my recruiting SGT.
my baby brother's also giving 19D a test run for me
he's 10 months in at Camp Hovey, S. Korea.
