lokar dipstick
my current dipstick i found out hits on my windage tray and bends the dipstick almost up into a connecting rod. my guy at the shop said he knows lokar makes a dipstick that threads into the oil pan i have but i cant find it. would it be easier to heat it up with a propane torch and just bend it? or does anyone know of the particular dipstick hes speaking of.

Are you using the stock stick that mounts in the block? How about cutting a notch in the windage tray?
You have two options I know of: Replace your timing cover with one that has the boss for mounting a stick in it (passenger side down low) or get a new oil pan with a dipstick boss built in. Canton makes several of these.
