the thermactor ports in the back of the heads are 5/8-11 try to get some that are 1" long, and use a thick washer or two. make sure you apply red RTV to the threads.

you will likely have to clean the ports out, as they get VERY caked with carbon

Ya no Ac^ Adder thanks man, whats a good way to clean back there not alot of room and I cant even see the threads. How thick of washers?

One other thing I didnt see mentioned is: If you unhook the vac line to the egr valve the pcm will automatically delete its function. Just leave the valve and sensor on the intake and hooked up.

K cool so plug the vacuum line to egr, remove tubing to heads and plug with 5/8 bolt and washer with loctite then some how plug exhaust? Anything else im forgetting ?

no... a 5/8-11 bolt, a washer, and red RTV silicone... not loctite

so you post, wait 2-4 hours for someone to give you info they THINK is correct, go to the part store, get a belt, and MAYBE get lucky... OR, spend 10 minutes, measure it your damn self, and get the right belt... the first time

I have a question about a part of the smog system. I deleted mine a wile back and when i baught the car it wasnt hooked up. They did leave the tube going into the block connected. What does it do and is it hurting me to leave it? I am trying to understand if it would be causing any problems.
