Severe Engine trouble

Severe Engine trouble
I have an 87 Convertible GT and it is giving me a huge headache lately.
I had all the wiring replaced with all the relays and a new TB.
Mechanic says that the ignition is fine and doesn't need to be replaced.
When I first took my car she was running smooth and now when I run it feels like an LX (no offense) lol
They tested the engine pressure and each pistons pumped out 65-70 psi. Normally it should be 150-250. They say my engine is shot, is this true or could there be anything else keeping it form running as it should?

RE: Severe Engine trouble
I have a 94 GT and it had NO compression on the front two cylinders of the right side. Well I torn the motor down and suprisingly enough the gasket that sealed the head to the block was broken inbetween the two front pistons. All the cylinders have a tiny lip ontop of them. Well where the gasket had been broken and letting compression out, it had been worn down and there is no lip there. So I sent the head off to get checked on and got a new head gasket. Make sure your gaskets are fine and use high heat silicone if you must.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but isnt the only difference with the LX is that it does not come with body kit and rear spoiler? So in other words they should "run" the same?

For all your cylinders to be down seems very unlikely. If you were uneven on a bunch of cylinders I would say check your timing chain. But being uneven wouldnt mean every single cylinder. I highly doubt ALL your cylinders are down.
I would check it again and try to pinpoint which ones are really down. It could be anything from a busted valve spring, head gasket, piston rings, etc.. etc.. It helps if you know which cylinders then atlest you know where to start.
More than likely they just checked a few of the cylinders.
