Default questions about removing cats.... please help!!!!!!
ok so here is the deal... i had a whole mac exhaust set up on my 95 gt and last summer it broke just behind the muffler and seeing that it is way too damn loud inside the car with turn downs off the mufflers I want to replace the exhaust from the headers back but with an o/r h pipe... i am really curious if this will make the check engine light come on? is there anything special i need to do with this?? please help!

wont set off the cel. the only pair of o2s are before the cats so they have no idea whether the cats are there or not

as long as you dont mess with your o2 sensor, you shouldn't get the check engine light from removing cats

I don't run cats but I'm considering installing some highflow ones.
