I have replaced the MSD Coil and i am still having the same issues. At this point should i just replace the distributor? This would take care of any PIP/TFI issues correct?

a coil works on the expansion and calapsing of a magnetic feild a primary winding and a secondary winding not electrically connected a voltage or current is sent thur the primary creating a magnetic feild and when it rapidly collapses it creates a spark in the secondary, a coil normally dosent just quit unless it gets too hot or has an internal short which will cause it not to create a spark, if this is your second coil try the igiton module, since you cant ride around with a scanner attatched you have to find it by elimination but not the longer lasting parts first!
I havent looked at the ignition curcuit for the sn-95 cars maybe if i look at it i may be able to have something more to help you out.

Just to add to the nice comment above.. I did test the coil and i was not getting spark to begin with, This lead me to beleive that i should start there and then move to the ignition module due to the fact i cannot find the issue when i am driving. This was advice i had received before this post, however i thought i could get some more insight from this forum of peeps. " Thanks for Explaining Venom" I dont have a problem replacing parts to eliminate issues. Just one less thing to worry about. I want it right. Still new to this all, but again i have some basics to work off of.. I will replace the module and go from there. Appreciate any other info you can come up with.

Thank you!

/sigh

Instead of just replacing it, if you do not have the skill to do very basic tests, take the TFI to an autoparts store and have them test it. Autozone can test ignition modules
