VALVE COVER CLEARANCE

I put 1.6 RR on my 88. When I went to put the stock valve covers back on they wouldn't set all the way down. Do I need to buy a new set? If so, what kind?

Somethings not right then bc the stock rockers on our cars are 1.6's and my 1.7's fit under my stock valve covers

My buddy adjusted them.... could it be that they are not adjusted right and sitting to high?

I put them on and bolted them down and it seems to be okay.
