can i change out my original spindle with a 2004 spindle to acheave 5 lug change or do i need to change the whole assembly?

if all you want is a 5-lug conversion, you can use Lincoln Versaille rotors on the stock spindles.

you would still probably need the 87 spindles anyway but yes the 04's will allow you to do that. Your wheels will stick out a little farther 94-95 ones are the best. You can also do the 13" cobra uprgrade cheap

When doing the 5 lug you will need the spindle, rotor, caliper and brake line. With the passenger side you will need an adapter to run the newer hose with a fox hard line. If you do use the lincoln rotors your wheel selection will be limited.
