clutch issues

sounds like a cable issue or fork issue, how did the clutch pedal feel when the prob occured??, did it feel like it was moving the clutch fork??? if it felt fine, could still be a shift rail issue in the tranny.....

Clutch felt really tight and was moving the fork but didn't seem to be pulling it out enough like. Something was binding

YOUR CABLE IF NOT NEW may be getting ready to snap, often times they become frayed and will catch on the sheath which surrounds the cable

will have to look closer at it tomorrow to make sure heat from headers hasnt affected it but it is almost new

actually if i remember right from unhooking it earlier, cable was very smooth as i had to rehook it on the quadrant and it moved very smoothly

it's possible, with a mirror and light you should be able to shine in there and view it

Check the bearing retainer sleeve, not sure if your year has an aluminum one or not. There is an upgrade to steel which resists wear and hanging of the TOB.

Read this it tells a little about bearing hanging with aluminum retainer:

so how difficult is it to install new bearing retainer??? i have read about having to use endplay shims cause the steel retainer will be different..
