Ive never heard of trick flow "stage one" heads. odd.

trick flow heads are aluminum, so they are about 20lb's lighter (each) then cast iron heads like the GT40's.

they also have bigger ports which equals MORE power. Have a different valve ange which makes more power, and help's clear the stock pistons, allowing for a bigger cam, which is more power.

trick flow twisted wedge heads are AWESOME for the price. guess how i know.

The best part about going with the trick flow head is that it will be matched to the camshaft that you are going to use. If you go with the GT40's you will need to purchase the correct valve springs to match the cam for optimum performance. I personally would go with the trick flow - good quality and good parts. It is your money and it is your decision.

i know what you mean and was planning on switching out the gt40 heads with the trick flow at the end of summer.....i just dont really want to put the stock heads back on them....if i do put them back on i think i have to get them reworked and that could cost as much as a set of gt40 heads........so so you all know the gt40 is not perminant

don't bother with the GT-40's. if you can afford Trick Flows, get 'em...I'm glad I did.
