I think its your waterpump. spin the water pump if it moves freely its shot it should have some tightness but not be loose. My 1994 f- 350 had the same problem as you overheating when rpm's climb. It was the waterpump

I got one for you guys,
I have a 90 mustang that i recently replaced the clutch in the car. the day after it was finished i took it for a drive to test the new clutch and i was having a little fun with it. In the process the car overheated. So i pulled over and found 2 of my heater hoses ripped down the sides. I replaced the heater hoses but the car still overheated. Turns out the fan clutch was also bad so i replaced that as well. The car still oveheated. I replaced the radiator, radiator cap, thermostat, flushed the coolant system, checked the lower radiator hose and it has a spring in it, and the fan shroud isnt hitting the fan. The car still gets way too hot. this is a daily driver so i need to have it fixed!!! Any ideas!?! i dont think its the heads because the problem happened so suddenly. It is also wierd that it happened right after i upgraded the clutch. The car doesnt really overheat, but it gets way too hot and the coolant bubbles over and out of the overflow tank. I really need suggestions, thanks
