re wiring fog lights
Hey everyone that has a gt fox, and wants to run their marker lights and fogs only, i have the best way, today i went to wal*mart crusing the auto section and i ran acrost an Auxiliary light wiring kit from APC, for $10 i said why not ill give it a shot, so i got it, i came home and jumped right on it, i have it all wired up and it works great, and it was easy to do, one of the simplest things i have done to improve the look of my car, it took me a total of 2 hrs which was not bad. if anyone decides to try it let me know if you need any help

RE: re wiring fog lights
When the fog lamp switch is engaged...then there is an closed circuit waiting for power. This wire that supplies the power is only "hot" when the headlights are turned on.
Just move that wire over from "hot" when headlights are on to "hot" when parking lamps and headlights are on.
I am about to do this but there is a possibility that the wire that supplies power for the parking lights does not stay on with the headlights. If this is the case then just wire both of the parking light "hot" wire with the headlight "hot"wire.
BUT REMEMBER: if no diodes are present then when the parking lights are turned on then the headlights will always turn on. Diodes are a one way pass through for electricity.
When I will do this to my stang I will make a "how-to" and post it. I am a DC 12v electician so don't worry about it being wrong.
Sorry stanglx2002 but I didn't take a look at that site...so maybe it covers what I just said. Too lazy to click the link and read right now.
