Default Question about installing a t5 on my 82 gt
I really wanna get rid of my 4 speed and upgrade to a 5 i need to know what is the absolute best tranny that will fit my car and what (if any) changes or modifications i will need to make to make it fit thanks... 1982 5.0 HO GT

you have many choices, it all depends on how much money you have.

T5, T3550, TKO, TKO500, TKO600, T56, G'force T5, Astro A5

most will require a bellhousing, crossmember, clutch fork, clutch and shifter

your most cost effective route will be a t-5 with the bellhousing, clutch fork and crossmember needed
