88 mustang vss wiring with auto meter guage

how would i wire a 88 mustang vss wiring with an autometer speedo???

I'm currently installing a Florida 5.0 cluster in my GT (Auto Meter Guages) and it looks like you need a feed from the VSS, the cable isn't used anymore.

The Auto Meter Guage has a VSS wire on the back of the guage.

IIRC, the 88 didn't have an electrical feed on the VSS, you would need one off a newer model.

Call autometer tech support, they should be able to help you out. For my 91 they said to connect VSS to pin #3 coming out of the ECU.
