no, it doesnt look lowered at all. looks like the problem is the low profile quality of the tires. i have 235/60s on mine and have lowered it 3/4" and there is about an inch between the tire and wheel well. id lower it at least an inch. check out some lowered stangs on the net and decide urself.

wow, i just looked at the picture again, and you must be running a 225/40 or 235/40. i recomend 245/45/17 in the front and if you want you can fit 275/40s in the rear with the quads flipped. you would like them alot better. when i got my car it had 235/40/17s on it, and the 245/45s filled it up alot better, but they rub on the front when i turn real hard, i could trim some off the GT bumper and cure it, but havent had time.
