I have a 1988 mustang 5.0 and I need to replace the fuse box, both holes for the screws are broken and I think I have a short for the horn cigarette lighter fuse. Anyways I'm not sure how to remove the wires from the fuse box so I can put a new fuse box in, any help worked be great.

make sure you don't have a penny in the cigarette lighter, that'll pop the fuse nice n quick.

I already disconnected the lighter to see if I had short in it

I fiqured out how to disconnect the wires, but does any one know what years have the right fuse box. Also any one have any ideas why my fuse box would be making a clicking noise when you push the horn

the clicking noise is probably a relay or a loose connection that is arcing. how loud is the clicking?

there is a relay for the horn that you are probably hearing click.

You could also just replace the whole harness.....
