What sparkplugs do you have and what are they gapped at?

thats the same plug i run, i had bad problems at high rpm's cutting out, gapping the plugs to much will cause the spark to be blown out. I have mine gapped at the same thing you do. Do you have an aftermarket ignition coil, what kind of wires are you running? Cap and rotor stock? Ignition box will be a very good upgrade. Not saying that these are any of your issues but a good place to look. Whats your timing set at? Usually a 10 degree timing is good for a sc car, thats what ford set them at stock. Have you had your car tuned since putting the paxton on?

I would run an ignition box with that coil. Take a wire off and look at the spark using a screwdriver and try to determine spark strength.

When I installed my kb, I had a point under load where the car would completely cut off and start again type miss. Like it was out of fuel type lean. Turned out my maf was maxing out. This would throw a light on for a split second though.

http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-foru...s-56-66-a.html. Check this out for your maf questions. Did you convert your car over to maf from speed density? Definately get a tune, and i have read where guys have remounted the tfi module on the side of a fender to keep it from getting hot, because of the problem of not being able to start up car after it has been driven and shut off.
