just go to the junk yard and grab some sn95 stuff. it will be cheaper than buying new wheels

Nothing wrong with spacers on a street car. I use them on my cobra without any worries at all. Some people use them on the track without any problems. You already own them, so it doesn't get any cheaper.

If you're using the proper spacer, they will not cause you to snap the lugs. There's a bigger issue there you need to resolve before installing a new wheel - spacer or no.

ya bud, sounds like you just need to buy a new wheel. you dont need wheel spacers with those size whees. the should fit almost perfect!! if the holes are egg shaped sounds like it may be trashed. maybe you did not have the proper lug nuts. You would only need wheel spacers if you went with a different wheel width. I have 275's on the rear of mine and I just had to bend the fender lip a little and I have 245's on the front with no issues at all on my 91 Hatchback. 17x9's on all 4 corners too. Good luck and let us know!!
