yes and no it will start the after its rev peak die then i let the starter rest mostly cuz theres alot of amps going through ther and 1 its a pain to get in and out and 2 its exspensive but anyways yes after a few seconds it will start again and run through the same cycle right now i have the throttle body out of the car and am debating on self cleaning the injectors or not

Try unplugging the IAC and manually set the idle. If it stays running your IAC has failed you.

Do a search on this forum. A base idle reset has been covered many times already
If it still dies after that, you need to see if you have no spark or no fuel and go from there.

My car did much the same thing but it would crank and crank, then start and run up in rpm then die. I thought it was a fuel problem for about a week because i couldn't get it to run by giving it throttle even. I finally got it to run long enough to do a KOER test and it turned out it was my Summit Mass Air Sensor. Put the factory one back in and it ran great. Don't know if that will help, but it sounded kinda similiar to my problem last year.
