Compression test on 5.0 carburated
I want to do a compression test on my '85 5.0L and I'm not sure what to do to stop fuel on my carburated engine. Normally, I know that you would disconnect the fuel pump but I'm not sure exactly how. Also, what would be the ideal compression for an '85 GT? Any help is appreciated and I tried searching already. Thanks in advance.

I think it's a mechanical pump. Should I disconnect the line from the carb? Or, just the return line? Should I disconnect both lines and connect them together so fuel dosen't spray out everywhere?
