I just bought an 87 convertible gt without a convertible top. I installed the top from my wrecked 1988 and now the top will not fully extend. It stops about 3/4's of the way to the windshield. I've tried to fully extend the top without the the top connected to the cylinders and it will still not open all of the way. The top opens and closes fine until it gets 3/4 of the way to the windshield, then it just stops, the pump motor will continue to run but the top itself, prevents full extension.. The top worked fine in my other car. Any help would be greatly appreciated

iirc there are adjustments on the lower portion of the frame
