Default '95 Mustang Cobra Problem

Hello, I'm new here.

Anyways, My dad owns a 1995 Ford Mustang Cobra 5.0L, and we have been recently been experiencing problems with it.

There seems to be a big shaking problem, more like earthquake shaking..
My dad, he works a BMW manufacturing, and he has good knowledge of Auto Mechanics. Anyways, he first thought it was the engine mounts, well we "fixed" that and it still was shaking. Then he thought it may be the transmission mount, turns out it was broke, but after we fixed, nothing has changed the shaking problem.

Anyways, I'm here to ask if anyone knows anything of what could cause the major shaking problem.

It's manual transmission if that helps..
Additional Information
The shaking is quite severe, holding the gears stick is quite numbing, it shakes so bad.
I'm 17, and I don't have much knowledge in vehicles myself.
The engine is the original engine, the car has 220,000 miles, but my dad has maintained it pretty well. And where there seems to be a problem, he usually fixes it.

Does the car shake only when driving?

If it shakes ALL THE TIME check the harmonic balancer, to see if any rubber is sticking out from it. Many times as the cars age, the balancer ring on the HB will spin and cause a vibration.

Thanks for the suggestion, will throw that suggestion to my dad.

It does shake all the time. Idle, and when accelerated.

if it doesn't hesitate or lack power, check the balancer as addermk2 states

Checked the Harmonic Balancer... There is nothing wrong with it. Still has the shaking problem.

Still stumped on what's wrong with the car.

My dad looked, not sure how he did it. I'll ask him, but right now he's busy, since i'm out of town at the moment.

I also asked him if all 8 cylinders are working, he said he was going to check.
But It doesn't seem to lack power.

Bizkit -

An easy way to check if you have a dead cylinder is to one-by-one unplug your sparkplug wires and see if it makes a difference. A car running smooth will pick up a wobble if you temporarily unplug one spark plug wire at a time.

Has the car been through any unusual driving or situations?
Does it idle at a steady speed or does the needle jump around?
Does the shaking get worse if you put the car in gear and idle down the road at low speed?
Have you checked your bell-housing bolts?
Is the "check engine" light on?

If it's shaking when not in gear its definitely something with the motor. Just have to find where.
