mustangsneverdie put a newer hood on his 4 eye once if you can search the threads to find it to give you a perspective on the difference. If I get antsy I might swap mine out and get a pic for ya. I have thought about doing it anyway on mine just for the hell of it because I love my hood scoop lol

im in georgia right now and dont have a cord for the cam but its crappy black right now but i was gonna use a razor blade and scrap it down to the primer that is under it like i did the rest of the car already. it dont have any cracks or anything like that. and both headlights look new. is anyone intrested in trading??? i would take it down the the primer and get it ready to paint if anyone wanted to trade!!!

lol not quite. like a scraper. the razor blades with the litle metal strip at the top. the reason i had to do that was cause someone attempted to paint the car with walmart paint then went back over it with walmart clear coat and it foamed over the whole car so i had to scrape it down the the ford factory primer. it was almost llike removing spray in bedliner. b ut it only took about a day suprisingly.

not really. the paint was thick and u could only go two swips with sand paper and had to get a new peice. it had like 4 coats of high build primer so it would have been alot of sanding and i dont have a da sander so it would have took forever by hand. with a razor blade it comes right off. like on the hood i could start at the bottom and make one swip and have a streak all the way to the top and it left the factory primer and didnt peel it off. u should try it some time. its really the way to go if you got a car that dont have clear coat. my uncle told me about it. you have to use a brand new blade and when it starts gettin dull flip it over and go again

8850stang, For the front an rear bumper covers you could maybe try to use some sort of filler and smooth out the trim line to where it is just a slight little bulge with no groove. Just tryin to help give you an idea
