well i didnt. i used bondo short strand fiberglass as thick as i could then smoothed it out with bondo. the guys at o,reileys said that would be the best thing besides welding plates in.

so u think i might can just bodo like a little ramp or something going up to the bumper to make it a slight slope goling up to the bumper trim?

Yea, it would take some pretty good amount of work, But I think it would get the covers to flow with the rest of the car with how your sorta doing a trim delete lol. All in all I think its a pretty neat idea. I thought of the same thing when I stripped the bodykit off my car a few hours ago.

i been thinking bout putting like a body kit on it (whatever u call the things that go around the bottom of the car) but i cant really find on cheap enough or one thats not too over board. any idea's?

Hmm, what is your price range. And have you checked craigslist? I find all sorts of great deals from time to time, and its funny you mention body kits. I'm trading my lx body kit for a gt body kit strait up this saturday. I'm smelling like a rose on that deal.

lol sounds good. well i guess the most i would be willing to spend would be about 150 maybe 200 if i could find something i really likes. i didnt know there was a diff in gt and lx? idk what mine is. it has a v8 but idk if it use to be a four cyl. i am on craigslist just about everyday. thats where i traded this truck for the car i have now.

i built this thing from stock. custom exhaust. did the lights myself. new trans and stage 2 clutch. full system with flush mounted tweeters. 4 cyl that would kill stock 5.0's. but i wanted a foxbody that bad lol starting to think i got ripped

What year is your stang? IMO there wasn't a hole lot of difference in looks between gt lx pre 87. Go to google images and look at an 87 mustang lx, then look at a mustang gt, the body kits are way different but interchangeable. I'm guessing yours does have lx body kit.

mine is a 88 body with 85 front clip. mine dont have any kind of body kit. i would really like to find something for the front bumper to make it look better. looks like the only diff with the gt is it has a flare all the way around the bottom of the car. i would like to have something like this

Stalker front bumper, they sell it for the 85-86's also, and actually looks better on them than the car in this pic.

can i buy just the bottom peices or get some off a stock gt? (the peices below the doors that say mustang and the rest that goes around the car)
