I'm a big opponent to putting a 4 barrel on these cars, if it runs with fuel injection why change it to a lesser form of fuel atomization, that being said, if you're a fan go for it

it actually runs cool. the guage runs 1/4 of the way up the guage. i replaced the water pump on it recently and got one for a 88 and it had a diff offset on the pulley so when i put mu pulley on it wouldnt go cause the harmonic balancer was in the way. i took the waterpump to the ford place and they couldnt even tell me what it fit. son i went to o'reilys nand they found it but all they could tell me was it fit a 90-91, but they didnt know what kind of vehical. they must have got it right cause it runs as cool as it always has. it also has a aftermarket electric fans so that prolly helps. i also put a timing chain on it whill i was in there and the one that came off the car was double chain but the one thay gave me to put back on was single. (dont make no diff to me) lol. does the double chain tell anything about what kind of motor it is??

Check and see if it has a thermostat in it, i'm willing to be that it doesn't. The oil pan may have been swapped for one that doesn't accept the low oil sensor, which would explain why it's just dangling there and you're not losing oil. Oh and about the unplugging your IAC and see if your car stays running, adjust the set screw first or it WILL die being backed all the way out. I don't think they changed the TPS harness from 93-94 so you're alright there.

I'm willing to bet if you hooked that thing up to a code reader it would say "One car at a time, please"

Must be a faulty sending unit/gauge then. Or maybe it's just a lot cooler where you are at! It's possible that the engine was swapped with another (older model). is the car an 88? because the belt drive system looks like it's a V-belt system with serpentine pulleys, but i could be wrong....

As stated earlier, get a haynes/chilton manual, that'll help alot with the wiring/vacuum.

Plus they got free samples of Enzyte for your limp Cold Air intake.lol.

hahahaha well the other bad part about it is ITS PLASTIC. lol i been meaning to put it in the fender one day si it would be a true cold air but it being plastic would defeat thge purpose. ive never been a fan of enzyte. viagra seems to be more popular. (even though me being 18 i have never had that prob)
