5.0 to 4.6 swap
looking for a little advice search feature didnt help much...
i have the option to buy a built 4.6 from a friend for a good price and was considering the swap, tools and mechanical know how are not a problem. just want to know what else i'll need other than the motor and more than likely the trans. (not 100% if my t5 will bolt up) motor comes with harness ecu and acessories...
so what else will i need

far too much work to justify the increased cost of modifying the engine...

the reason i want to swap is because the power i want is unattainable with a stock 5.0 block... the motor im considering made 475whp and was built by a good friend.
the work is not a problem im a tech. at a local ford dealership just wasnt sure exactly what all i would need to change to pull off the swap
i knew i would need a kmember and a bigger fuel pump, just forgot to mention that, but y would i need a body harness and a returnless fuel system when i know that all fuel injected motors have a return line

i know we used to be friends, but you seem to not know **** for being a "tech"
Just something for you to look into IF you decide to build a fuel system. You will need 96-98 fuel system parts, or aftermarket ****

The forged internals, heads , supercharger or turbo, its not going to do it N/A, transmission conversion and upgrades etc will easily exceed $10,000 with a modular, providing you do the labor.
You can swap in a Dart Block , with 427 Stroker kit,351w conversion items, built tranny and have a 427 for 26+% less than that.
Or supercharging a 331 or 347 /355 Forged Assembly in a dart block with tune and built tranny, axles.

im not here to debate if a 4.6 can or cant do, i now remember y i left here the first time, every one wants to tell you not to do **** rather than answer the questions asked, i watched the car make 475 no its not n/a... and no the turbos dont come with it thats a later project, i know all the modifications needing to be done to the body and suspension, yes i could build a 427 but between the block internals and top end its not going to b any cheaper considering ill still have to do most of the same modifications to ensure the cars doesnt pull itsself apart
