cant brake-stand!

im thinkin the brakes arnt lettin go.i can lay a long patch but just wont stand. i'll try lettin off the brakes alittle tomorrow when i go to work. let ya know what happens. and ya the clutch is broke in right put at least 1000km on the highway mostly before i tried it the first time

if you really want to do a standing burn out clamp the rear brake line off then try it, if that doesnt work you got some real problems.

well, tried today on the wet pavment and wheels still wont brake loose. im lost. no clue. any ideas? im doin a brake job on sunday. maybe i'll find something then

so they spin without the brakes? if so you must be putting to much brake or the fact your clutch maybe messed up

Too much brake I'd say. Try no brakes, then once youre moving push the brake slightly until youre still spinning but not moving.

you must not have ANY FRONT wheel brakes,ONLY rear brakes.

i did a brake stand with my stang last night i couldent sit still ither i kept moving forward but it left some nice marks and some smoke so that is good for me

i burned it too..but i sat there in second smoking them at 4-5k

either you have a brake problem.. or u shouldnt drive a mustan,g because its so easy to burn, it sounds like your problem is in the front brakes though. do you have any brake fluid? lol

if i just drop the clutch i can leave a 70 foot patch no problem. but as soon as i step on the brakes they lock up. Im runnin 400hp so thats not the prob and i know the clutch is fine. im thinkin the rears are just grippin so hard they wont let the wheels spin. but as i said, tomorrow is brakejob day so i'll let ya know how it goes.

i doubt it, 400Hp is hard to stop with drum brakes. but its worth a shot
