runs like crap
if i'm driving at a steady speed my car backfires and bucks like crazy, if i floor it it stops for a few seconds. also if i give it 3/4 gas it accelerates pretty good but if i floor it it drops off and has no *****, oh and there is'nt any take off power either.

Probably just need a good tune.
When is the last time the spark plugs were changed? Fuel filter? Plug wires?
What is the timing at? When is the last time you added fuel cleaner to your gas?
It could be a number of things...but I seem to find that a fouled spark plug (or bad plug) usually caused backfire. So does plug wires that are arcing to the block.
