Default 93 gt finally on the road but grinding gears!! :-(

Ok guys finally got my car all done today. Put the key in the ignition and after sitting for a few months it fired off after only a few cranks. I took it on a few laps around the block and it no longer grinds 4rd and it actually goes into fourth now! I took it on a little longer drive down the street to wash it up at the car wash went to shift into 5th gear and it grinded in :-(. It had never done that before and my tranny is completely rebuilt with all brand new bearings synchros and everything brand new clutch and throw out bearing, along with new shift fork and pilot beairng. Everything is new so i dont know what might be happening. Would this be a simple clutch adjustment or is it something i did when i rebuilt the tranny? It didnt grind the first time i drove it and i filled the tranny with castrol merc tranny fluid took about 3.5 quartz. Lmk what you guys think! Also im running a steeda double hook quadrant and a steeda firewall adjuster and a steeda tri- ax shifter.

Check cable adjustment now that it has been used a little.

well i put the firewall adjust about an inch away from the adjuster base. I went under the car and took up the slack out of the cable with the adjuster nut. Then i unscrewed the adjuster until when i pulled out the cable a dime would fit in then let the cable retreat back and that was that. My pedal has about 3/4 inch of play. It still grinds am i adjusting it right or could it be something else? It goes into 5th but when it does it grinds and when its in and driving it seems like it wants to pop out of gear but when i did the tranny i put in a brand new brass synchro so there should be no reason that it should grind right?

Also when i take the car out of gear or push the clutch in after driving down the highway the car stays at 2k it wont idle down at all i have to turn the car off then start it again then its fine and it does it randomly. Dont know if my issues are connected or whats going on?

It does sound like an adjustment issue. When you replaced everything, did you replace the pivot ball and clutch fork?
