Hey guys

First of all I'm new in the mustang community and new in this page. I have a 1988 Mustang GT 5.0 Liters and the door lock doesn't work, even with the key they don't go down to lock it up. I tried to check the lock system but I don't know nothing about it and I don't even have a manual to read what to do.

So if there's any one who can help me out with some advice or something like that I will appreciate it a lot!!

Do you have power door locks? If so can be lock actuator(electric motor) can be seized.Replace or if money is a issue disconnect linkage for now and operate lock manually. Actuator is at back of door toward bottom, held in place by a rivet.

I had that same problem. I just drilled through the rivet and it worked again.
