Default oil pan sensor/plug

I have a 1985 stang 302, What can I use to plug the oil pan sensor hole, This old lady is hitting the dirt track

I used a generic oil drain plug 20mm x 1.5..if you go to autzone ask for a Subaru STI drain plug from the back.

I did this because my oil sensor was leaking not from the $2 gasket, but from the little wire in the middle and I didn't want to spend alot of money on a new unit.

some RTV around the outside of it, if you're cheap and need it fixed

Since you're hitting the dirt track, you might want to add an oil temp gauge. You can get an adapter from FortesParts.com

I wouldn't use silicone, it won't hold up.
