I had a 94 gt that did the same thing, it ended up being the fuel pump. I replaced almost everything sensor wise and plugs and wires, and it was just the pump. I replaced the pump and it ran great after that.

To verify fuel delivery have gauge hooked up while griving when it messes up. EEC1V tests are necessary. Post results. What brand spark plugs?

Take out thr platinum plugs replace with motorcraft or Autolite copper plugs. If the offending plugs were Bosh you have solved problem,

Hey 94GT,
I am the tech manager at Autolite spark plugs and a avid Mustang fan. While I do agree that dual electrode spark plugs really do not work very well in Mustangs, I do not think that is causing your issues. Have you checked all wiring connectors in the engine compartment? Check every ground cable to make sure they are clean and tight. Check the alternator output with every single electrical accessory in the car on. I just had a Camaro in my shop with similar symtoms, the owner had replaced many sensors prior to bringing it to me. I noticed the battery was low, charged it up and it ran great-for a little while. Some checking found the power wire at the alternator had corroded and was intermittantly charging the battery. Let us know what you find out and if you need specific troubleshooting intructions, shoot me an email at Jay.Buckley@Honeywell.com
