Lightbulb No spark need help!

I was sitting at idle and it cut off tried to start but it wouldn't start. Had the ecm checked a was told it was good. Bought a new coil still no spark. Changed out the secondary coil thing in the dist. still nothing. The car is a 1988 with mass air. Could it be the ECU?

How is your car set up? Is it stock? Aftermarket ignition?

Stock it had a accel coil but its has a stock one now. I replace the dist. cap and button. And put another ign control mod off another dist. I had the same night it broke down along with the other stuff and still got nothing. Then the next day the car starts up the second try. It used to fire up really quick.

hold up... check ur inertia switch....my '89 was tricky and i think it had a bad harness. 2 times it just didnt start and i thought the dizzy mod was toast... towed it home and the next day it started. after that maybe 2 more times it didnt fire and i played with the harness and it started

shortly after that it was stolen, but thats another story that pi$$ed me off severely
