no mods can be done to a SD car. no heads, no cam, no intake.
the computer is setup to only work with the stock setup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you can use the SD setup but youll need to get it programed=if you can find someone to do it

this is from the OFFICAL FORD MUSTANG 5.0 technical reference handbook..page 253 on SD modification
a speed density system will have a hard time compensating [with fuel and spark-timing management]for the improved breathing abilities provided by a high lift/long duration camshaft or bigger cylinder heads. Erractic idle, fluctuating engine speed, loss of throttle response, high speed misfires, and over-rich operating conditions commonly result from a modified engine's fluctuating low-speed vacuum levels.

You know what the best thing to do is to first invest in getting it changed over to MAF before you do any other mods, cuz like ohsoquik02 said you are going to have problems with the computer adjusting, it wont adjust to your mods, the MAF system does. So do that switch before anything else, invest in the right order and it will all be good

I haven't had one problem with heads and SD. The heads were even pocket ported Canfield's, which are some of the best flowing sbf heads out there. I've also ran Edelbrock and Holley intakes and BBK headers with no problem. However, if your ultimate goal is 350 hp or more you will definitely need to convert to MA. Don't fool with your stock castings. You would need to spend 50 hours of port work on them to even come close to a restrictive aftermarket head out of the box.
