title says it all..i got this vacuum leak that i have yet to find tried lookin but im bein an idiot or something cuz im sure the problem is right in front of me but yeah my check engine light comes on every now an then..it only happens when my thortlle /rpms dont go back down to idle it stays gassing an when i drive my stickshift it'll drive like an automatic lol but yeah as soon as i turn off engine then start ack up idle /rpm problem is fixd an usually runs fine until i get on it then problem happns more sure its a vacuum leak..hopefully i find it soon uhm any ideas tho thoughts r opinions thanks

three things, if your idle hangs enough to drive like an auto, its probably not the vacuum but your iac, the easiest way to find vacuum leaks is to get a can of carb clearner and (trying not to set the car on fire) spray it around common area's like the throttle body, vacuum connectors until you spray in on area and the idle changes. And third, throw some comma's in your writing, I'm no english major but damn that was hard to read.
