Help me with the battery Relocation
I think I am over thinking this process for my 1995 mustang. I want to put the battery in the trunk and use a switch to kill power. In my picture you can see the wires to the battery and to the fuse box.
What do I do with the red wire going from battery to the starter. Do I connect it to the fuse pannel post, get rid of the short jumper wire and run a new wire to the back of the trunk to the pos side of battery?
So the fuse box pannel acts as a connection point to battery wire and starter wire after switch is turned on in trunk?
Or what do I do with it. Im confused.

dont run your starter power wire to the trunk... only a dumbass would do that.
run a piece of 0 gauge cable from the POS bat terminal, to a switch (get a quality one) then run the pos batt cable to that fuse panel connection post, where the starter wire is.
Also, run your alternator charge cable to the rear of the car. It needs to be connected to the battery side of the kill switch.
Ground: While grounding to the chassis is sufficient. Some people feel more comfortable running an additional cable to the front of the car, and connecting it directly to the engine block.

I use a 250A resettable breaker on the main power line, and a 150A resettable breaker up near the alternator.

Does this look right. I have read that 200 amp fuse is what I should use. Any one with input. www.mcmaster.com part number 9180K95. I will order two. One for the altenator side, and one for the fuse box side. Does this sound right?
