Default Shorty Header Clearance?

For 94 Mustang GT
I haven't had much time to read back into a lot of threads, and most of them are from 06, i just got a pair of BBK's shorty equal ceramic headers that I plan on installing this weekend- and I'm not sure if the header design has changed (since '06 and '07)to avoid rub with the steering shaft. And i just wanted to know if I will just need to adjust or replace motor mounts to make these headers get clearance. I want to know before i take the stock headers off and leave my commuter car jacked up while waiting for motor mounts to arrive if changing them is necessary.
so the basic question- will i need to adjust the motor mounts, or replace them with some solids... say from American Muscle?
Thanks in advance.

When I put bbk Shorty headers on my 1995 mustang gt I had to un bolt the motor mounts and jack up eachside of the motor seperate from the car to get them to slide in there because its a really tight fit. Both headers went in from the top. On the passenger side the header on mine does touch a a/c line. Different motor mounts may be neccessary to get perfect fitment but my install worked out fine.

so, your header only touched an AC line, no rub with a steering shaft?

but would it honestly hurt to put some poly motor mounts on it? that is if you want to spend the money on them (imo factory style rubber ones are fine too)

people have header to steering shaft issues if they buy cheap, ****ty headers, or ones that dont fit their year range.

outside of that, when people have steering shaft clearance issues, its usually because their motor mounts are shot

had a set of BBK shorties(made for a 94/95, NOT a fox) and they fit fine, no issues, went in easier than the stock POS's came out...
