Default T5 help.

Hi all,

I have a 1995 GT and i'm currently rebuilding the trans. I ordered a kit with new synchros and have disassembled everything from the main shaft. However, the problem is the new cones and blocker rings won't fit together. There is a composite on the inside of the new blocker rings that looks similar to grafite. Do i need to remove this? there is no composite on the old blocker rings and they fit with the cones perfectly. I've looked everywhere for help and even called the company that makes the kit but i've come up with nothing. Any suggestions anyone has is appreciated.

Soak blocker rings in Dexron overnight before assembly.
