Default How to fix codes

So, i currently have a 94 gt with the 5.0L v8 and have some sputtering problems lately. Sometimes, at idle, she will rev up to about 12-1400 and hold for a few seconds, and then during acceleration will backfire. this mostly happens during cold/wet conditions. today i finally figured out how to pull codes without a scan tool and i received a 564 (Fan Control Circuit Failure) in the KOEO mode and a 172 (Heated oxygen sensor indicates lean condition, right side) in the continuous memory.
any ideas on what these problems mean and how to fix them? i have just moved to CA and can't get my car registered because of the CEL and need to figure this out ASAP. the only mods my car has are K&N filter, Flowmaster muffs, and i did have an o/r H (but its back to the stock H now with reset computer).
Thanks for any help,
Ryan

Switch left and right o2 sensor. If code goes with the o2 replace as it is defective. Check for vacum leaks. SBFTech....check it out, it will end this test.

so i finally got the chance to switch the O2 sensors the other day and i am still getting the 564 (Fan Control Circuit Failure) in the KOEO. now i am getting a 176 (heated O2 sensor indicates lean condition-left side) so im assuming i need to replace the O2 sensor. when it says left side, its the driver side right? and also, im getting a new code in the continuous memory 543(Fuel pump circuit open-battery to PCM). do these codes have anything in common? and any idea on fixing the fan circuit code? thanks for the help so far.

not exactly sure what the CCRM is or what it does. did a little researching and it seems to be the module that mounts on the bracket that holds the coolant overflow tank. is this correct? and if this is my problem, can i just buy a used one and swap it out? thanks for all your help.

just reset the codes right before you bring it in for emissions. Your car is not OBD2, and will not have readiness monitors.

I had 543 and went to Advance, purchased part number RCM12M (relay control module) cost before tax was $84.69. One year warranty and is a remanufactured unit. Core is $45. Is the fan working? KOEO should be able to hear it go low and high speed. Left is drivers side. CCRM(constant control relay module) is between radiator and radiator resevoir. Black box with a mess of wires.
