Newbie starting a project with 94 vert GT
Hello Group
I am looking to get a 95 GT convertible that needs an engine (knock) that is all stock. Which year of the newer and bigger brakes bolt on? Do I have to change the master cylinder and/or brake booster? Will an engine from a 89-93 bolt in or does it have to be a 94 and up 5.0L?
Thanks
Joe

you can use any 302 made from 68 till now. they all bolt in.
If you are looking to swap your broken engine for one that runs, i'd suggest you look for an engine out of a 96-2001 explorer. As it will have a better intake, and better heads then a stock fox engine.
As for bigger brakes, you can swap to 94-04 cobra brakes, if you feel like spending damn near $2300 to do so. OR you can modify your front spindles slightly, and mount up the 99-04 GT PBR dual piston calipers. All you need are the calipers, brackets, and banjo bolts.
